Eliminate the time and frustration of the container management business by obtaining a cart maintenance service agreement with Otto Container Management (OCM). This maintenance program allows OCM to establish a local office close to your operation that is staffed with the necessary personnel and equipment to manage your containers from beginning to end. The local office will organize and manage your carts and parts inventory, clean carts, repair broken carts, dispose of those that cannot be repaired, and clean up your yard. Our reliable and professional teams of drivers use our Otto-owned trucks to perform service calls quickly and efficiently. Keeping your residents satisfied and happy is our mission.
The cost of an OCM program is structured to make it predictable and easy for you to manage your budget. There is no money required up front. We charge on a per-cart fee basis no matter the manufacturer of the cart, so every month you are paying the same amount for each cart. Should you increase your cart inventory due to growth, you simply pay the same fee for the new carts.
The monthly fee for a cart maintenance program is determined by taking into account the number of carts within your existing fleet, the age and condition of your fleet, the length of your service agreement with OCM, local market conditions, and the average number of work orders completed each month. Evaluating this information allows us to accurately project service call rates, replacement rates, cart failure rates, and growth rates, which are used to determine your monthly fee.
The per-cart fee covers all costs associated with:
- Delivering a new cart
- Picking up a damaged cart from a residence
- Repairing a cart
- Replacing a cart with a new or repaired one
- Disposing of a cart
